self-administration
The self-administration is made up of residents who voluntarily work as tutors or as members of committees to improve life at RBW for all residents. To compensate for the time they put in, they receive 10€ per month and the particular semester is not counted towards the maximal period of residence.
If you're interested in joining the self-administration, just write an email to bm1@rosenbachweg.de or stop by at one of the upcoming meetings of the tutors or the dormitory council. New people with great ideas are always welcome!

duties of the tutors
A short description of the tutors' duties is given below. More details can be found (in German language) in our regulations; you can alternatively contact the current tutors (see list above) or find out more by visiting one of the meetings.
mayors
- unlock doors when you lock yourself out or lose your key
- can be contacted about defects or nuisances
- represent the RBW e.g. towards the student services
media tutor
- lends the keys for the large common rooms
- lends the vacuum cleaner
- lends beamers or other technical equipment
culture tutor
- plans two events for the RBW residents
- past events: brewery tour, night walk, trips around Göttingen
- helps planning and during the summer and christmas parties
games tutor
- lends card and board games (see the list of available games)
- lends the key to the billiard room
- plans two games nights
sports tutor
- lends sports equipment
- lends the key to the billiard room
- checks the fitness room
- plans sport tournaments
integration tutor
- welcomes and introduces new residents
- answers questions about the dormitory
- plans a meeting for newcomers
workroom tutor
- lends tools
- explains using the equipment
- helps during your constructions, repairs, etc. if needed
internet tutors
- ensure a running internet connection
- see to internet and IT issues
- maintain the internal network and this homepage
bicycle tutor
- lends bikes
- helps with repairs
gardening tutor
- responsible for the garden part of the Rosenbachweg
- coordination and contact person for garden areas
dormitory council spokespersons
- prepare, conduct and log meetings and elections
BA (residency committee)
- process requests for residency extensions and complaints
- prepare the discharge of the self-administration
controlling committee
- process complaints against decisions of the BA
